Where has my time gone?
Well I haven't written in this thing for awhile, so that must mean I've been pretty busy. Classes haven't been all that bad so far. Well except for this Engineering Reliability class. It's all statistics and tons of formulas and not much information on when and where to use each one of them. So last night I spend 1 1/2 hours figuring out exactly how to plug 2 numbers into an equation and get the results I was looking for. So the math isn't really all that hard (except remembering how to integrate and differentiate by hand since it's been years since I've done that).
I'm not really sure what exactly is eating up all my time though. It seems like I start working on some homework that's not really hard, and next thing I know it's midnight. I guess just the length of the homework takes up so much time. I had 2 projects due at the beginning of this week so that ate up a good amount of time also. And FEH work has taking up a good amount of time. I did go see Liz a couple nights too so I guess all that combined equals all the time I've lost somewhere or another.
So this all means I haven't had any time to work on the robot controller board, which I'd really like to start working on closely again. But of course there's things with closer deadlines, like applying for grants and fellowships and figuring out stuff for a PhD and deciding if I want to do that and the job fair next week and a wedding to go to this weekend and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting.
So I guess there was another presidential debate on tonight, which of course I didn't watch. I've really decided I don't like either candidate all that much and I probably won't be happy with whoever wins, but since this funky thing call democracy seems to allow only two choices for president I'm stuck picking one of them. Anyways the little bit of the debate I did hear from going to the kitchen sounded like both were spewing forth the multitude of overgeneralizations and exaggerations against each other. I wonder how many actual facts were properly stated during that whole thing. Of course I'm too busy to really figure that out, and even if I did I'm still stuck choosing between the two.
So there's something new to read. I'm sleepy, and I of course have a meeting early in the morning to go to which ruins the one potential day of actually sleeping in that I get each week. Oh well, tune in later for more random stuff.
