Off the Market

Well guys and gals I didn't chicken out and now I'm officially off the market. #1 draft pick for Team Liz.

So my plan went pretty well. I blindfolded her and drove down to Lancaster and she thought we were actually going to the Applebee's where we first met but she had a feeling it was one of the places I'd take her. So we walked up the path to the top of the hill (which is rather steep if you've never been there) and stopped along the way a couple times. When we got to one spot where there's sort of a fork in the path off along the path to the left side there were 2 female deer standing there staring right at us! That was pretty neat because we just stood there and watched them and they just stared back at us. One was a bit larger and I think it was the mother of the other one. Eventually the mother got sort of spooked and started trotting off away from us with its tail in the air and the littler one joined her.

So we continued our walk up the hill and made it to the top. Yeah we're out of shape, we can't even climb a dumb little hill or mountain or whatever. When we got to the top we just stood there for awhile and looked down at the city that the hill overlooks. So eventually I asked her if she liked her surprise so far, and of course she did so I asked if she wanted another part of her surprise, then when she said yes I pulled out a deck of cards from my right pocket that I had got at the job fair that day just to throw her off. She didn't want those from me so I pulled out the ring box from my other pocket and popped the question, which of course she said yes to. *mushy stuff ensues* then we decided we were cold and hungry and some random lady walking her dog showed up too so we went to Applebee's for dinner, then to her parent's place, then back to her place for a little while (and no my army of babies hasn't begun yet), then I had to come home and write my lab report that's due tomorrow.

So there you go. Seeing the deer was pretty neat, writing my lab report wasn't. Time for sleep. Nick let me know when you're drinking so I can drink with you. Peaceout!
