Moving again
Well that time has come. The time to pack up and move to Lexington for 3 months of work at Lexmark. I finally found out where I'll be staying and looked up some info online about it. I get a upgrade in bed size but everything else is downsized from what I have here. Good internet access is questionable too. Apparently they have "high speed wireless" access, but the speed is only as fast as what's on the other end and very dependent on who's hogging the bandwidth or airwaves in this case. So I'm not all too excited about that... here's one place where I'd really prefer a good old ethernet connection to a wireless solution.
I'll be taking my good TV and Xbox with me also, even though they do provide a TV there. I figure hey I bought this thing why not get to enjoy it, plus Xbox in HDTV is much better than a plain old TV that I have no idea if I can even connect it up to anything else. The only downside is possibly the connection will be dependent on that TV's receiver, like they do with those hotel room TVs with the menu system and junk these days. I'm hoping not, or at least that I can rig something up, especially if I have to live with it for 3 months.
Of course it all is paid for, so I guess I can't complain too much.
So I guess I'll see how well this goes tomorrow. I can't check in until 3pm, so I figure we'd leave around noonish and get there sometime after 3. Then that'll give me some time to unpack a bit, check out the area and maybe even drive over to Lexmark land.
Well that's all I got right now. Time to pack up my socks!

READING LOL!
So yeah, I go take my CIS681 final today. I didn't really get a chance to study for it but I wasn't worried. So I get in there and get my test, he goes over some of the questions then I get down to work. When I get all the questions answered I start looking back through the test becuase no one has turned it in yet and I figure hey I still have about 50 minutes left anyways. Then I go back and read the first page and notice it says "Open Book/Open Notes" HAH! AMS TEH SMRT. So yeah, since I didn't have my book with me, or managed to ever print off all the notes or bring my laptop to get them anyways I figured hey I did alright and just checked over my answers and turned it in as it was. Hey I couldn't do too bad, right?
So now all I have left is this programming lab. It's basically done, but there's the option to add more features for extra credit. It really is interesting stuff, but I'm torn between putting more work into that and actually getting down to business on this robot course. I guess I could play around with it a bit more and if it doesn't happen then oh well I won't do much more with it. And if I get a few more things working that'll be cool.
So in an hour it'll officially be MY BIRTHDAY! Where's all those wonderful presents and stuff? Yeah, I'll be checking my mailbox!

Blame Copus
Copus had to go and point out something wrong with an old entry so I had to go fix that. Then I figured hey while I'm here I might as well write something new too. So you get to put up with the insanity that is me writing in this thing yet again.
So now there's less than a week of class left, and what do ya know I have way too many things to get done (see the previous entry about all the stuff I had to do back then - it's still all pretty much on the list). So classwise I guess i have 1 more programming lab which I already have half done, a final, one more lab to attend and 2 more lab reports to write. On the FEH side of things I have to help out with robot team creation, work on the new robot board (which includes a lot of hardware development), build the robot course, do website stuff, help coordinate the Friday nacho party, and probably some other things I'm forgetting.
Ah yes, and get ready to move to Lexington also. I figure I'll take my 2 main computers, my LCD monitor, maybe my LCD TV, then a bunch of clothes and bed stuff and that should do it. They're paying me enough that I guess I can buy whatever else they don't have down there, or at least live a week without it till I can come back up here and get the rest.
Sadly in the office today someone commented that they wished I would go back to the me that wasn't so busy all the time, which I think they meant I wasn't as fun anymore. Ah yes, I wish I could do that though. This has been quite a bit of work to get done. Man I wish I had more help with some of it too. At least more people are beginning to help with the robot course though. A little less for me to worry about. I just hope that continues through spring break, because I need a day or two off too!
So I need to be up at 9am to go to my slew of meetings that I normally have to go to. A trip to Lowes is also in order. I've been putting that off since last Friday since other things keep getting in the way. Also I need to call or visit the plastics store and get that stuff taken care of. Oh well I'm just babbling and that's probably boring for anyone else reading this. Nothing else exciting has happened though, so I'm gonna go to sleep. OK peaceout!

OMG IT'S MARCH!
Oh yes, MARCH, the time of lots of rain and slushiness and oh yeah, MY BIRTHDAY! How about a big ol party this year? Yeah that'd be fun wouldn't it? Too bad it's on a Tuesday, and during finals week, even though I don't think I have a final for once that day.
